  1. Thanks Matthew. I’ve seen those models before and of course they’re more detailed. This however, although generalized is easier to relate too, especially in regards to Outdoor Rec. Thanks for your comment!

    • Hey Jonathan, I’m not sure I understand the question entirely but I’ll do my best to answer. If it’s steep enough to avalanche, it can avalanche. In general this means anything over 20 degrees though more commonly around 37 degrees steep. The amount of snow settling on top of the glaciers is not minimal. To sustain these glaciers snow falls all year round and huge amounts accumulate in the summer which eventually turn to firn and then ice.
